Netherlands born guitarist/singer/songwriter Vincent van Hessen has been predominantly street performing around the globe since 2008. After losing a daytime job at a New York City cafe, began performing with the legendary New York City based gospel group ‘Boyd for Praise Company’ as their guitarist and background singer in Central Park and on Subway platforms and mazanines in the NYC subway system, only to discover, that after all, street performing is an interesting way to get ahead of the game, musically, contact wise, street wise and economically, without being a celebrity or at least known. After moving back to Europe in 2009 Vincent van Hessen continued this newfound path and by now has performed in multiple cities and countries in Europe, North and Central America, Asia and the Middle East.
